Freezer Phone

This is the second note I'very owned. I absolutely loved my Note 2; this one not so much. It's stylish and has great features if the processor would actually let you use them. The phone has a delayed response and is constantly freezing. With today's technology you would think the phone would be able to keep up with the user. And with it being the 4th generation all the kinks should be cleaned up - my phone acts like a 1st generation on its best day. I will definitely rethink purchasing a Samsung again.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 4th smart phone and my 3rd brand and I have to say Samsung is Boss. I love, love, love my Note 4! I upgraded from a Note 2. I love the up grades. I love the size. It did take a bit to get used to the changes of the layout of the phone, but I don't mind. The reason I gave a 4 ☆ instead of a 5 ☆ on the performance is because of the power on lag time. It took some effort on my part but I did figure out the power on lag issue. I think it was the SD card. It wouldn't read it and I had left it in so I think it was trying to read it every time I turned it on from sleep mode. Since I have resolved the power issue I give it a 5 ☆for performance. Samsung user for life!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, awesome

My Note 4

I have been using iPhones for the last several years and didn't know what I was missing. The Samsung phone has excellent build quality. The battery lasts for several days the way I use it. The screen is much better, not to mention much bigger. The memory can be upgraded which is a bonus. The battery can be replaced which will give the phone a longer life span. I couldn't be happier. The camera is far better than my previous phones.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Galaxy Note just keeps getting BETTER

My first Galaxy was a Note 3 (iPhone convert) --- I have been more than happy with making the switch. I am specially pleased with the Note 4, it doesn't seem to have the charging port issues the Note 3 had - which was the only negative of the phone.
Pros: Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

The BEST Cell Phone Available Today

I've had my Galaxy Note 4 for six months. I'm convinced it has the best value and feature set of anything on the market. My one complaint is that the S-Pen is difficult to get out if the phone is in any case. Maybe it's the case design, but Samsung should do something to make this easier.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, fast

The Note 4 Really Rocks!

I can't mention too much constructive criticism as when I did in the review I previously attempted to publish, as Samsung refused to post it and they may do the same with this one just by mentioning that fact.
Be that as it may, I focus on the positive which includes that I am very happy to have upgraded to the Note 4 from the Note 3. The performance is better as are the latest operating systems, except for some various glitches which I won't mention here or this might not get posted.
The newly designed S Pen does actually perform better than the one on the Note 3, so that is definitely an improvement.
The charging on the Note 4 is faster than the Note 3, so that is a huge plus. Also, since this charger is more universal than the one on the Note 3, I can use it to charge other devices, which is very very convenient.
The Samsung SmartSwitch app worked wonders when upgrading from the Note 3 to the Note 4. It is not perfect, but does save a lot of steps in the upgrade process. Just the same, expect to spend half a day or so when upgrading any phone; it's just the way it is.
Be sure to get a rubber bumper for this phone because it is so thin that it is easy to set stuff off whenever one grabs the phone with their hands. I kept accidentally calling speed dial contacts and other stuff until I put a very thick bumper case on the phone. With the case, I can easily hold on to the phone and grab it without setting off fireworks!
The S Memo on the newer operating system is not as good as the one on the Note 3 because several ink colours that I preferred (like bright blue and bright red) ane no longer available. As a result, I have since converted my S Memos to S Notes and am happier as that S Note gives more flexibility anyhow. I created a shortcut to my phone screen for a note I use daily, so that helps speed things up.
Thank you, Samsung, from the bottom of my heart, for the Note series as they are truly, overall, the BEST mobile phones I have ever owned! In particular, as a middle-aged visually impaired person, there are MANY features that help with that, particularly the little text popups when hovering over things with the S Pen or even my finger (depending on my settings). I can even see a larger photo of a thumbnail simply by hovering with my pen; how cool is that?
I didn't save a copy of my censored review, so I am sure I am missing some things, but this should give folks a general idea of why this phone rocks.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

I can run as many regular apps, games, and still text like a king without worries that I will bog the GUI down. This phone is a definite winner, and i believe is tops in RAM amount across all of the Samsung phones available to consumers.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, cpu speed, ram amount
