The phone is good but from the time of purchase it heats up like crazy at random times- most of it when it is NOT charging and without it being in use.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: heats up a lot while not in use or even charging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I replaced my Iphone 6 with this phone and have NEVER been so dissatisfied with a phone in all my life! It freezes up 10 times a day, slow and to dial out on the phone is the biggest pain in the butt, it is unbelievable!! When you lock the screen and then put it in your purse, if one thing hits the home button, it activates the phone screen and drains your battery. The ONLY positive things I can say about this phone is the picture quality that you get with the camera is great and the size is great. Looking to go to Iphone 6s Plus ASAP!! I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone!

If it wasn't a refurbished/insurance claim phone it might work properly.

Not only does it cut out during every call. It also beeps as if buttons are being pushed and held down. Not sure why anybody pays insurance to be supplied with faulty devices. Probably not a fault of Samsung directly but clearly there's a problem.

Feel my Note 3 was a little more stable but overall have a had a good experience.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, ir port
Cons: gets laggy

POOR BATTERY LIFE

This phone has very poor battery life. I had this phone for abut 2 years now. And recently over the course of 4 to 5 months my battery life is getting worse and worse. I could have my phone charged at 100% and in about 20 minutes the phone is at 60%-50%. Once it gets to this point, if I try to open an app or make a phone call the phone automatically dies. Yes, I have tried power saving mode, which does nothing because once I open that feature the phone automatically shuts down at 60%-50%. I though Power save mode was suppose to be the life-saver? Also I find it pointless to have to use that feature when the phone says it has that percentage of battery life. I had to delete apps on my phone, had to shut down background apps, gps, etc...as to not run down the battery. However with all this pro-activity on my end the phone is still terrible. I am going to buy replacement battery to see if that works. Otherwise, I may have to resort to purchasing a new phone.
If I had to tell my past self if I should buy this phone I would say no. It's too big, the battery life terrible, and the updates don't help it either.

The last samsung update erase my contact list, it was the worse thing not knowing who was calling or texting!!

Good phone but has some minor flaws

Its a very good phone but it does have a few flaws my task button on the bottom left side of the phone stopped working about a week after I got the phone, plus the phone was very hard to update the OS. Plus why is the note still running lollipop? Come on marshmallow has been out for some time now we should have the ability to upgrade our phones to the new system if we want and we cant. Battery life is by far the worst I have ever seen on any phone. And the finger print reader is very inaccurate, you have to swipe your finger across the sensor 3-6 times before it reads your finger

It might because I am with Verizon on an outdated unlimited data pan but that still doesn't explain the issues I have with the note 4. The phone freezes and restarts randomly. I've had it replaced but still have the same issues. I want to love the phone but I can't. The batter life is decent but I always have to have a back up battery. I always have issues with Bluetooth features. The camera is decent but is not nothing to write home about. I would not pay over 200 dollars for it brand new.
