Good simple TV

I bought this because a friend who knows a lot about electronics said that LG has the higher quality and is better to deal with if warranties need to be used. I bought this model because the price was great for the size. I am fine with it not being a smart TV, because the smart part of it will be outdated within a few years anyway. It's easier to update your Bluray player or Apple TV. I think the TV's menu is super easy to navigate and the built in sound is decent (although I did buy a surround sound system). It has two HDMI ports and the 5 plug component input, which should be enough for most people. I also like that it sits on four legs at the two ends, which seems so much more stable than a central stand. My only complaint is that the corners of the screen have a slight light deficiency, but it isn't really noticeable and is common with the LCD TV's anyway.

great for watching sporting events

I desired a larger TV with 1080i, LED and120 refresh rate. This 55"LG fulfilled all my wishes. I did not want a smart TV, since I have a computer to handle my on-line matters. I've had my TV about a month now and am loving it. The colors are vivid and the sharpness of the picture is amazing. It also has a number of picture settings which lends itself to whatever your watching. I can see the difference in the 120 refresh rate compared to my older 60Hz TV. The action is more free flowing with less blur.The one feature about the TV which you have to take into consideration is the legs supporting it. They are at the edges of the frame. You will need at least 48" of table width to support the TV.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, change the leg support to a central support

This 55 inch Led LG is the right TV. The quality is a step above the rest. The price is right, picture is awesome and sound is superb. I am very pleased with this product and am recommending it anyone looking for a quality Led TV. Play it smart and get your LG. You wont regret it!!!

I sure enjoy this tv. Also own other brand Led and Lcd tvs and they can not come close to the sharp , clear, bright color, it's even better than going to the movies, thanks LG for a great product. I would buy again and do recommend this tv.

easy to set up and great value

This tv has a great picture. And very easy to hook up. For the money a very nice tv. It didnt connect to my direct tv so i have to use two remotes. And if u want a sound bar make sure its for the tv, or it will block the remote from working. Because the remote sensor is in the bottom center.
