Best TV I have ever purchased

I went out on Black Friday looking to purchase a new tv. Originally I was going to getva 50 inch but this was by far a better deal. I love my 55 inch. I can't wait to get a 65 inch.

Great picture and sound but very flimsy stand.

Had an LG 50 inch plasma last for 14 years with no problems so I got another LG without a second thought. This is a great TV! Picture is perfect and sound is better than any other TV out there. The stand is very shaky and I don't trust it. Cheap plastic. Set rocks easily. Consider a wall mount if possible.
Pros: flimsy stand

We chose this LG model as our first LED TV, and are quite pleased with the vivid colors and crisp details of the display. The thin, stylish design provides a large picture without a bulky case. Set up was easy and we have had no problems integrating the TV with other electronics in our home. We highly recommend this TV!

Love my new LG 55 Great picture and sound! Never had LG brand TV before but I know what I have been missing in my bedroom. I love to watch sports movies and my reality shows when I'm not working and I enjoy this wonderful product .Believe or not my wife likes it. Thanks LG

excellent picture on a basic tv set

Like I said- the picture is great. And I didn't want a smart tv, or a 3d tv... I have all the connected-ness (?) from my other devices. Do I need Netflix on my tv if it's already on my Xbox? Nope. So for what I needed this was a great buy.
One thing I'll mention is LGs clever marketing trick. This is a 60 hz refresh screen. The box doesn't mention this. It does say that it has something called "120 motion scan" or something like that- pretty tricky and I have to admit it fooled me. I was looking for a 120 hz screen, so when I got it home and really looked at the instructions I was a little disappointed. Shame on me for not doing my homework. Now that I have it though I don't really mind. Just know what you're getting!
