Great picture, but the sound could be louder. At the highest level, it's not that loud.

Nice picture, good controls from remote. easy to set up and use. Wish list for tv... 1> controls (off/on, volumn, channel, menu) on the tv in case the remote fails 2> Audio out to allow for sound bar or other audio accessories

I love the TV, except for the sound i have to turn it all the way up to 30 in order to get a good sound..

Beautiful picture and energy efficient!

I purchased this as a second tv for my home. I already have a LG Plasma 50" that is to die for and was surprised by the quality of picture this TV has! Just a stunning picture after I calibrated everything. And also, the tuner that brings in the channels is very effective and brings in programming without the use of an antenna amplifier so I can tell its quality through and through. After the TV goes through its warmup and break in period, you just cant ask for better. In all, its energy efficient, beautiful big picture which is 1080 resolution which means less strain on your eyes and the channel tuner holds on to the channel. I cant ask for anything more!

bought this less than 2 years ago and all the HDMI ports stopped working. So I bought HDMI to Component cables . So now the unit stops listening to the remote . what a piece of junk

Flashing off and on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received as Christmas gift 12/24/2014 now 01/06/2020 TV is flashing off and on. From all the complaints of the same issue I would say this is a defect and LG should repair at no cost. LG are you listening to your customers!

Great TV with some exceptions

The picture is great on this. I still need to work with the settings to get it just right though. It's not a smart TV, so that's why I gave it a low feature rating. I knew that before I bought it. My biggest issue it the volume. I notice very little change from about 23 to 70 in how loud it is. Maybe a way to get you to buy a sound bar? IDK. At 60fps it works for my video gaming and movie watching.
