I bought this TV to put in my living room - I LOVE IT! beautiful picture, easy to set up and super slim! Would recommend this TV to anyone!

I have been a lover of LG products for many years. I have purchased everything from a tv to a cell phone and I have never been disappointed. I always purchase a warranty but I have never had to use it. Life's Good :)

One of the best purchases I’ve ever made

I have always been a fan of the LG products, especially their TVs. I have a LG smart 35 inch 1080 / 120 refresh rate in the bedroom that has performed very well with both picture quality and sound for the last 5 years. So; when I happened upon their 55” LB5550 TV, I was intrigued but a bit apprehensive. Normally I would be interested in another smart TV but my budget wasn't up for that, but after talking to the sale rep he convinced me to give this one a try. When I got it home the set it up was easy and quick, the picture quality is amazing and the built-in speakers are way better than I had expected, plus it fits perfectly in my living room. I love my sport and action movies and watching the game on this 55” is nothing less than entrancing. The 120 MCI (motion clarity index) make following the fast pace action and the background scenery so enjoyable that I sometime forget it’s not a true 120 refresh rate. When guess stop by they can’t believe what I paid for it. Since I have been in the process of rebuilding my life the LG 55” LB5550 TV has been “for the price” one of the best purchases I’ve ever made

Solid "Dumb" TV

This is a great low feature TV. If you're hooking it up to a pc, or another smart device this will be the exact thing you're looking for. The color looks great, and the 60Hz refresh is nice. the only real con is that the audio quality is lacking, and I would recommend a sounds bar to go with this.
