I've had this dishwasher for about 5 months, and it works great. Cleans very, very well, with no scraping of precleaning. I really like the silverware rack - it creates more room for plates and large items, and it makes putting away the clean silverware very easy!It's very quiet, but does seem like it takes a longer time to run than my old dishwasher. But then, it does a better job of cleaning, so maybe that's a good thing!Overall - it's great and I'd recommend it to anyone!

After many months of research to find a reasonably priced dishwasher, we picked this one. Rated as a best buy by a leading consumer magazine, it has lived up to their ratings. It even exceeded my expectations in most areas; especially noise level. We didn't even have to insulate it to reduce the noise as a lot of people do. The dishes come out CLEAN without rinsing beforehand and dry very well with the exception of plastic, but I understand that is to be expected of most all dishwashers. I would recommend this product and hope that any other whirlpool appliances we purchase perform as well!

Decided to go with Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen remodel...purchased dishwasher, stove, & frig...we couldn't be happier. Previously purchased appliances from a well know retailer was not what they were made out to be. After several repairs, enough! With Whirlpool, one doesn't have to sacrifice performance for style, design, or affordability...hopefully, one day can try a washer/dryer.

Great Dishwasher

I can put everything in there without rinsing it off first, the dry setting actually works (as long as you put the liquid help in it, which lasts a long time). I run my dishwasher every day to every two days and it works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pro: Dishwasher cleans well; very spacious; operates quietlyCon: Cycle takes too long; all mugs and glasses placed on top shelf are still wet because they must be placed straight up rather than on a slant so they have water on bottoms when cycle is completed; drying agent must be used or dishes come out still wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have 2 boys under 10, a 22 yr old daughter, my husband and me. Our dishes range from corel to crystal, to plastic Disney plates / cups, and about a million forks and spoons.We moved into our house when our youngest was born, and since then we've had to replace everything major except our 15 year old washer / dryer and the roof. Stretching it out, we went 6 months without being able to cook in the oven, AND just below 2 years washing dishes old-school style (thanks Mom !) using the rack of the old dishwasher as an air-dryer !!!We now have this dishwasher which is REALLY AWESOME because we also replaced the stove/oven with a dual oven (also a Whirlpool) which now means I cook more !!!
