Disappointing

Bought this refrigerator less than 8 months ago and have already needed to replace the thermostat under first year warranty due to the freezer not keeping cold. Since the replacement of the thermostat the the freezer is staying cold, but the interior is still sweaty and the fresh food in the refrigerated compartment is freezing. This issue has caused me to throw away a lot of fresh vegetables that have ice crystals forming in them. Would not recommend this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had this refrigerator/freezer for two months. With only one control for both units, either the items throughout refrigerator are frozen or items like Popsicles and ice cream are too soft.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Huge disappointment

I've had this for a week and can't tell you how disappointed I am. The stainless steel finish doesn't appear to be authentic as it smears and scratches very easily. I have had other stainless steel products that have been an awesome addition to my home, but can't say the same for GE.

Perfect for Grandma!

We bought this refrigerator for my husband's grandmother; she is moving in with us. Since we've converted the basement to an apartment for her, we wanted to make sure her amenities would fit in the space and still provide enough room for her to feel at home. This refrigerator is great! It is small enough to not look intrusive and large enough to fit everything she wants. If I could change one thing, I would make it a little less deep (would prefer a counter depth option). But, at 91 years old, it is still very easy for grandma to reach things inside. It cooled down quickly upon installation and is running quietly. So far so good!

Size of refrigerator fits perfectly in my condo unit. Refrigeration is exceptionally good and very cold (even at recommended settings). Happy I purchased this unit and price is about right.
