MOLD!! I would NOT buy this again.

We started using this at bedtime when our son got congested from a cold. We used it for two nights and on the third night, when the air came out it smelled musty. I opened it up and the filter was black, brown, and growing fuzzy MOLD already!!!! How can something that's supposed to keep babies safe and comfortable mold that quickly and easily? There's obviously something wrong with the way or with material the filters are made out of. How ridiculous to have to change them not every 1000 hours like they claim, but every day?! I will not be using this humidifier anymore and will not be buying anymore Vornado products. Lost my trust and business.

Cons: Mold
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Humidifier great, light annoying

This is an awesome humidifier, but the light that turns on when you're supposed to refill it is very annoying. It comes on in the middle of the night and lights up the whole room. Even if I fill it up at bedtime by 3:00am the light is on. I appreciate the notification, but why so bright?

The child lock is essential and the first thing we were hoping to see. Our 2.5 year old just wants to play with it all the time. Once she heard frog sounds it was a toy. The settings for slow, medium and high are just fine for our use. We're keeping it in our living room now actually during summer if that says anything. We wouldn't do that if it was loud. We tossed out our old sound machine because this one does the trick too. Wish it had more sound options, but not a huge deal. It is quiet and if the heater version is the same quality and quiet too, then we'll be buying it. Wish the cord was a bit longer but we got around that issue easily with an extension cord. Not sure the value of the lights, but they're a nice touch. Also, it looks as if you can rotate slightly the fan direction but you really can't. Not a big deal since the fan technology is supposed to do all the circulation work for you. Overall, we really like it!
Pros: Compact, Easy to install, Quiet

Wish they would sell the old filters

I have 2 Vornado Hueys and love that they don't use antibacterial Microban or Nano particles inside it like other companies do. But I am so disappointed that they have added antibacterials to their filters now. It's not nanosilver or microban but if it says to wash your hands after touching, I don't want it in my children's room. Now I will be stuck with 2 Hueys I can't use when my supply of old wicks is gone. I wish Vornado would sell both and let consumers choose.

Great Nursery Humidifier

Overall the Huey is a great humidifier. It was very easy to set up and it has a very sleek design. The package mentions there is an odor when you first use it. It is actually pretty strong so I am glad I originally set it up and let it run a few hours in the larger living room than in my daughters bedroom. One thing I like about the Huey compared to other humidifiers is the small fill bottle. Others tend to be very heavy and for moms who just had c-sections with weight limitations, this is a great feature. I also like that they have various fan and humidity functions to keep the room at the optimal level. I also think the Huey is a lot quieter than the humidifier I was using previously. There are a few downsides though. First, mine does not allow me to choose the auto function for the unit to turn on and off based on the humidity in the room so I keep it on the low setting and it runs consistently. Two, the Huey lights up when you need to re-fill the tank. This, in theory, is a great function unless your mom brain forgets to re-fill it and your baby wakes up in the middle of the night from the light turning on. It is very bright! Overall, I am much happier with this humidifier than my other one and would certainly recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Modern, Quiet, Small fill bottle, Various humidity levels
Cons: Indicator light is bright, No nightlight option

Allergies? NO PROBLEM ANYMORE!

I have used several different humidifiers both cool must and warm mist. Warm mist ones seem to be the only ones that help with my daughters allerergies. The only problem is they make everything in the room wet which eventually leave water marks on the ceiling and can cause mold on windows. The Huey is the only humidifier that helps my daughters allergies and doesn't leave a wet mist all over the room. Not only does it work better the others I've used it is very easy to clean and holds more water.
Pros: Attractive, Convenient Use, Easy To Clean, Sturdy Construction

Excellent product for all ages

The Bressi LS is an amazing air circulator and noise maker. My child utilizes a sound machine at night and I used for her when I received the product. It was excellent and very easy to use, with many sound options. It provides light options and different levels to circulate the air. I highly recommend this product!

We use this product specifically in our very curious son's nursery. Not only does it do the job of of cooling off the room on hot nights by circulating the air, it doubles as a sound machine that we usually use A separate machine for well. Three fan speeds allows you to choose the perfect temperature for your room. With the added light feature it allows you to have a dim light that is not distracting to a sleeping baby. Another great feature is the parental lock that keeps my son from being able to change the settings.
Pros: Compact, Easy to install, Great speed settings, Lightweight, Quiet
