great hood

we just installed week a go with Kitchenaid 36 Range top, I have been looking for hoods after installed range top which, month ago. looked at high end brands but finally made with same brand kitchenaid. so far I'm very happy with it,but just a one little thing,wish mash filler was more layers than only two.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using the hood for about three weeks and couldn't be happier. It is beautiful and works great. I love all the great features and the fact that it is so quiet. No problems to date. I've received many compliments about my new KitchenAid appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to rebuild my house because of "The Great Flood of 2016" that took place in Louisiana. So I took down my kitchen/living room wall to give it a open concept for better entertaining while cooking. Everyone comments on how professional the kitchen looks. I am well pleased with the performance with this unit and more so of the ease of installation. The instructions were simple and had it installed in about 3 hours, not bad for a couple of rookies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Island Hood has become the center piece of our kitchen. It is beautiful! I have found with regular cooking I put it on medium till the air starts moving then I can turn it down to low. The air keep moving and you can barely hear it. The lights are perfect, every thing about it compliments the kitchen.

Love the new look in our kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remodeled our kitchen added a hood over the stove, there was not one in the house prior. Love having a way to vent now. The only issue I have is the controls are not light up, so you have to have a light on to see which button to push. They need to add a light behind the panel, other than that it’s a great product!

Beware of Ceiling Height!

We bought this hood to go over our range in a 1970's house that has standard 8' ceilings. If you don't plan ahead with your installer to rig this thing then be prepared that it will sit only 25" above your cooktop!!
It's a great hood, nice lights, quiet, but not meant for an older home remodel project. Seems to me like a MAJOR design flaw that Kitchenaid needs to correct.
