Chair has cheap mesh material that wears easily

I received this chair a couple of weeks ago and the seat cushion already has some tears in the mesh material. As well, the mesh materials holes has a lot of the plastic fill coming out. I mistakenly threw out the box a week ago and now Best Buy will not issue a return so I am stuck with a chair that looks like its worn enough to be 4 years old.. While the chair does offer back support, the chair does not go low enough for people who are 5'6 and under. Perhaps if the chair could adjust lower and didn't have sections made out of cheap mesh material it would be a nice chair, but that is not the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
