Wonderful compact system

Wave soundtsound is a wonderful compact system that does a pretty good job of what it is meant to do. However, I've noticed that its clock is not accurate and loses up to a minute in a week. Bose needs to work on these minor irritants to further refine the system.

Spotify only streams if you pay

I bought this system about a month ago and, overall, I am quite pleased. However, I tried streaming from Spotify over the weekend and I got the message that, to do this, I had to have Spotify Premium, i.e., the paid version. This should be made clear in the product description.

I love the soundwave system

This is my second Bose product I have purchased. I really like the sound wave system. It was easy to set up & the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I would like to let seeing manufacturer know that I wish that it had standard radio features like volume, etc. I can turn it on and off with the touch but I can't turn the station for the volume without the remote. This brings me to another issue the remote is too small in a constantly gets misplaced. My former older post system I could purchase a large remote for it. Please keep in mind that everybody doesn't buy these products using a large house I have a very small room and I'm off and sitting right next to my cell system but I am unable to change the volume or the channel without first walking walking and finding that tiny little gray remote.

Great Sound, Great concept, bad Networking

On boxing day I purchased 2 Sound Touch 20 series II systems for my home. When I got them home and set them up, I was blown away by their build quality, sound and features. The purpose for purchasing these was to provide background music (wirelessly) on 2 floors for when we entertained etc. however in spite of an excellent customer service effort, they failed to deliver...here's why... I have a new dual band router which enables you to attach a NAS (network attached storage...just a big external hard drive) device directly to the router which means you don't have to have your computer on in order to have access to whatever music you possess. This new router also provides me with an incredible wireless range for all my Wi-Fi devices...I can actually surf the web from the back of my yard some 250 feet away from the router with little or no signal loss! After connecting my new Bose speakers to my Wi-Fi and listening for a while (15 minutes) I began to notice that the speaker(s) would disconnect from the router? This seemed to happen to both speakers on and off making your listening experience more of a distraction than an enjoyment. Bose customer service tried everything to correct this...even changing the parameters of the router, re-directing certain devices to operate only on one of the two router bands (2.4Ghz) while leaving only the Bose on the 5.0Ghz band and vice-versa but nothing worked! We even attached "power-line" adapters so instead of making each speaker wireless, they would be connected to the network via Ethernet but this didn't work either? With my existing high speed internet (15Mbps download) I am able to watch Netflix and download without any interruptions so the only thing I think it can be is the Network cards installed in the Bose systems? This is too bad because I would have purchased another 2 of the portable speakers plus a complete outdoor system (4 speakers with amplifier) for my deck and garden. If Bose is able to solve these issues, I would not hesitate to re-consider them as they sound amazing!

I bought this system couple days ago and play it, but it didn't have the punch that I assume it would have had been a Bose system. It's ok and I mean just ok...

Hello Thee331,
We appreciate the review. The Wave SoundTouch is a great compact system that will allow you to play SoundTouch via your home's WiFi network as well as other sources such as AM/FM radio, CD, or other audio devices using the AUX input. We certainly have other products available that put out more volume such as the Acoustic Wave Music System II or other SoundTouch systems like the SoundTouch 30II.
