Well Done Canon

I have only had this body for about 2 months, but I can say that it is by far the best Canon body I have owned. In the past I have owned:
20D
1D Mark II N
1Ds Mark II
And now own:
30D
1D Mark III
5D Mark II
20D
1D Mark II N
1Ds Mark II
And now own:
30D
1D Mark III
5D Mark II
The full frame sensor and the sensor quality is amazing. The images are second to none. There is very little noise even at HIGH ISOs. I strongly recommend it. The only downer is large file sizes, but that is nit picking.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life

Movie mode is not professional

The camera offers great stills functionality. The movie mode is nice and new. However, the movie mode is not suitable for professional work because you are forced to work in Program Mode( P) while shooting movie. Exposure is ALWAYS set automatically.
Pros: Bright LCD, Quick Start-up time
Cons: no control in video mode., heavy nr at high iso

What a great camera for still pictures, Falls a bit short on the video side in my opinion, Lacks control over the settings in the video mode, Please Canon give us a firmware fix to address this and we will be very happy campers :)
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Quick Start-up time, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life
Cons: Missing features/settings

Fantastic Camera

Quite possibly one of the greatest cameras ever made for photography and videography. It especially shines with its low noise at high ISO and dynamic range. It's also weatherproof, which when combined with an L series lens gives you one tough camera setup ready to tackle any environment.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, amazing video

Great Camera

I have been using my 5DMk2 for two years now and I love this camera. I Bought it as replacement for my 450D and this camera can't be compaired. The camera is much more sensitive for light so it's faster and easier to work with in low light conditions. The ISO performance is also great. Build quality is on a professioinal level with a litle downsite that this means it's have as well, especialy with my 24-70 2.8 mounted..
I would recomend this camera to professionals and serious hobby photograpers!
Pros: good battery life, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality
Cons: Complicated controls/menu, no autofocus with movies

Best working camera a photography can have

I have had the Canon 5D Mark 2 for 10 months now and love it. the best part is the low noise at high ISO levels. if you need a professional camera at a price point you can afford this is the one. it's a great camera for a working pro.

So many usable features

After having owned a Canon 20D, 30D,40D and 50D, I moved up to the Canon 5D Mark II to get the full frame sensor. I've owned the 5D for a couple of months and love it!
Pros: Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu
Cons: no autofocus for video

I love this camera, excellent sensor and resolution, superb noise performance, and that LCD screen is just gorgeous! My only gripe is that Movie mode should have had full controls over ISO and Aperture, thats all.
