The 5D mark II is an excelent job of Canon tech.team . Thank for the hard work you guy done so We are the end user have a very nice product to use . Keep it up Canon .

Best quality-price Canon ever. Photo and video quality are on top. Boor CF built quality is very poor like other eos pro sumer cameras.
Pros: photo quality, video quality, good featurs, ergonomic
Cons: poor cf door

I have always been a Canon shooter, so moving from the D5 to the Mark II was an easy step. Superfine results. Many times I do not have to make any adjustment to exposure etc from what the II produced in camera. I always enjoy others reaction when I take out the II, " Oh, what do you think?" Well I am totally sold. I seriously use the 'real time' review which I was not certain I would. I shot a lot of Macro so the fact that I can zoom in, in real time, and manually focus is a great feature. I am sure I will begin to use the 'custom settings' feature soon which will make my usual shots much easier.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable, good battery life, higher iso setting produce fine results., with a 1.4 50mm and iso results are great
Cons: the need to dump the d5 batteries for ii batteries

huge step up from 5D

This camera makes me happy...its a huge step up in ISO from the 5d. I love that...nothing makes me happier than being able to use ISO 6400 and get a usable image.
Pros: excellent image quality, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Solid Operation, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings, only 9 points of focus

I've been waiting for this camera for two years, but it was worth it: Pixels to burn, accurate color, bright LCD screen and logical menus.
Autofocus is not state-of-the-art, but perfectly adequate.
Camera may be more sensitive to wet/humid weather than some, so take care when going from cold-damp outdoors to warm indoors by sealing in a watertight bag before going inside and letting it warm up for an hour.

Awesome camera wish the frames/sec were higher but the photo quality is far superior to any camera in it's price range

I love my 5d MarkII would not trade it for 1d ...takes great pictures, light meter is actually accurate.... feels better in my hand....yes its heavy compared to a crop sensor...so what...
