This Camera is great

This camera was a great upgrade from my old XTI. I also upgraded to all L series lenses and can tell a big difference in the quality of the shots I am taking. It is very easy to get around in the menu and understand, even for a beginner as myself.
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

My first pro camera

This camera is awesome, I use this all the time for video. This is really handy for video, and you have such a good amount of lenses to choose from. Right now I am saving up for a 50mm 1.4 lens for my Canon 5D Mark II. I am not mad that the Canon 5D Mark III is coming out, because it's just going to take to long.
Pros: good video ok pricing full frame sensor

This is a wonderful Camera. The low light abilities are always a awesome suprise. Lower decks of the Queen Mary in the dark and beautiful shots. I just love it!
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, quiet, Quick Start-up time, Solid Operation, easy to use, good battery life
Cons: could use highter shutter speed

Quality Video

Tremendous still camera with every feature you could want. As a pro videographer it has a few less featrures than you might want but these are more than made up for with the lens variety at ones disposal. 1080 P 30 frames a second can be converted in your non-linear suite with no loss of quality for those that crave a 24 frame look. The image quality and lens options make this unit a must have for a pro. another home run for Canon.

Love this Camera

I love this camera! I wanted to upgrade my 20D and I was shopping online and thought that the 50D would be my purchase( b/c of price) but I really wanted a full frame camera. I decided on the 5D and have not regretted the purchase! This is an amazing piece of equipment (I feel unworthy). The image quality is off the hook, the low light capability rocks. With many cameras using a high ISO makes for a grainy pic.. not with the this camera!! for any person looking to upgrade spend a few hundred more and get the 5D. I only wish the 24-104 lens was 2.8. The 3 creative modes are excellent easy to set and switch between. The HD movie rec. feature is cool but I have yet to use it as I like stills and editing a movie is not my cup tea. But for simple personal use yes very cool great output! But U must have a HUGE card to record anything lenthy in terms of recording a movie. The only thing I regret is that I only have 1 5D mark II!!!

Best Splurge of the Year

My pics are better than ever. With lots of options for settings including the easily accessible ISO setting i can get great indoor event shots as well as fast moving outdoor sporting events. Thanks Canon for a great experience.
