Terrific Camera

I have had this camera for nearly two years. In that time, I have found it to be equal to the tasks I put it to - whether action, night, photographing my youngsters, or whatever it might be, the camera is a performer. Is there room for improvement? You bet. Such is the life of a photographer - the equipment could always be made more to suit my particulars. But it is dependable, does what I need it to do, is solid in build and the image quality is outstanding. I am extremely satisfied with this product.
Pros: good battery life, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Solid Operation, dependable, professional
Cons: Missing features/settings

Everything I wanted!!

This is truly the best DSLR Canon has ever made! Superb image quality in a pretty compact package. Sure, the auto focus could be a bit better but it's not a huge deal to me. Image quality and sensor is what counts!!

Great Purchase

This camera is excellent. I got this camera in the summer of 2012 as my first "big" purchase after graduating college. This camera is amazing and is everything that I hoped it to be, now I just need to get some better lenses to really put the camera to its true power. Terrific with a very high ISO, obviously it still gets a little grainy, but not NEAR as bad as some cameras. I would recogmend this to a lot of people. Only down fall is that I have not upgraded Photoshop on my computer in a while and still have CS3 and camera Raw does NOT work with the 5D mark II. Kind of frustrating because I thought I did a lot of research, but no where did I find this information. But still a great camera.

This long-awaited camera is probably the best photographic purchase I have ever made! The image quality is stunning and the exposure latitude is truly mind-boggling. I also enjoy the low light capability and the full size sensor. I am a very happy customer, and so are my clients! I love the detail it draws out of my Canon L lenses.

Images are tac sharp

Love ths camera!!! I will still use my 40D for action and sports but this camera is a beast for capturing portraits. The files are clean and noise free. Took camera to the Grand Canyon and waited for the sun to go down and the files are flawless. High ISO....CLEAN IMAGES!!!!! What a tool.

Worth the weight

I love this camera. The image quality is so good that I am resigned to its heavy weight, and the fact that I have to relearn how to hold and shoot.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, good battery life
