GOOD FRIDGE BUT DON'T LIKE CLEAN STEEL FILM

This GE fridge was ordered without an icemaker so that we could have more freezer space for food items. We retired our 4-year-old white fridge to the garage to accommodate a new clean steel GE fridge for our remodeled kitchen. Our kitchen is very small so we couldn't order any fridge wider than 33 inches. Also, since we bought a GE clean steel dishwasher, we ordered all the other major kitchen appliances in clean steel. The clean steel range, clean steel microwave and this clean steel fridge all have identical black handles and coordinate beautifully. The fridge works well but seems a bit noisy to me. At the back of the interior wall there is a design bulge that sticks out further into the shelf area than my old fridge did and it gets in the way of items that get moved back to the wall. Even though the clean steel surface of the doors deters fingerprints, I don't like that the clean steel film can nick or scratch easily. I don't like my daughter's brushed stainless steel fridge either -- she's going nuts cleaning after the fingerprints. Next time I get a fridge I'll get a textured door surface fridge. Of all fridge surfaces I've owned over the years (smooth, textured, clean steel, brushed or stainless steel), textured is the one I like best of all. And maybe next time if I ever have to replace this fridge I'll get the freezer bottom with double fridge doors on top in the 33 inch width.

Great product for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is very sleek, stylish, cost efficient, and quiet. The interior space is very well designed allowing the user to configure multiple settings for larger/smaller products. Highly recommend as a starter fridge or a need for refrigerated items only.
The freezer ice-maker is the only complaint. Often the ice machine is full but continues to create an ice, overflowing the freezer. The ice will fall out of the ice bucket and make a loud bang when slamming onto the freezer top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT AND SPACIOUS FRIDGE

I BOUGHT THIS FRIDGE MAINLY BECAUSE I TRUST GE PRODUCTS WITH THE HIGH QUALITY AND SERVICES. BUT THIS FRIDGE SURPASSED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS.
