I haven't used this extensively nor the convection, but the basic microwave works great. Fairly straightforward user interface. The lack of branding is nice, so it matches any other appliance(s). Maybe, an area for improvement would be a fingerprint resistant stainless steel surface, since it's sans handle, and a more powerful light underneath. Once the microwave timer expires, there is only one beep, which I like, versus a continuous beep every so many seconds. Not sure if this is programmable, but it's to my liking. Personal preference, of course.
