[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a package deal for our new home. I would have liked to see tis model before I oK'd it though. It is smaller than what I am used to. It has strange ways of opening the drawers. I wonder what I am to put where...

Leaks

Bought this fridge brand new 3 years ago. Had no issues until last month. A pool of water appeared on the floor to the front right of the unit. I cleaned it and was good for a month. Yesterday afternoon (Mar 11) it happened again. I have read other posts and it seems this an issue. While I'm out of warranty, I'd like to know why and how it can be corrected. This is the second Whirlpool product I've had issues with. Not sure I will ever buy another.

Great Overall Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the fridge is great...it is big and very well laid out so lots of food fits in.....the biggest negative is the ice dispenser and the water dispenser...the ice is hard to catch in your glass and so it constantly spills 1 or 2 little pieces on the floor...and your glass needs to be upright for the water, but the space for the glass is small, so you don't get a lot of water in a tall glass...the dispenser should be tilted to accommodate a tilted glass. Also the doors don't always close tight, and the alarm doesn't catch it if it is mostly closed but not fully closed

Unnecessary Feature

Ours came with a water filter that does not work. Have to buy a cap to use when I remove it. I don't see the need for a filter that will need to be replaced twice a year and add a lot of unnecessary cost.

I love the French doors. Freezer is pretty large and the sliding trays are great. It takes a little getting use to in order to dispense ice cubes and not have them drop all over the floor !
