Beautiful on the outside. Cheap on the inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently remodeled our kitchen and bought all new Whirlpool appliances. We are pleased with the quality of the other appliances (i.e. wall oven/microwave, gas range, wine fridge, hood), but the refrigerator - for as expensive as it was - has a very cheap feeling inside. All plastic. Since Day 1, the left crisper drawer has never seated properly and constantly slides forward about an inch. And yes, the refrigerator is level. In order to get the pull-out drawer on the bottom to close properly you have to lift it on the left-hand side and slide it into place. Unfortunately I have every expectation that I will be replacing one or both of these drawers well before the end of life of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too small, bad ice shoots

I has this model forced on us by our builder. it is WAY too small in both the fridge and the freezer. We has do buy another fridge/freezer for our basement and almost every meal we have to make the trip up and down the stairs. the ice cubes come out way too fast. there is no way to slow them down. half end up on the floor no matter what you do.STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRIDGE! FOR WHAT YOU PAID, YOU WILL BE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Great Looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new refrigerator for about a month. It's a great looker, and the quality is solid, except the two things we don't care for - the pull-out bins and drawer are flimsy and need to be constructed more substantial - they move around when opening them. The second thing - the doors when opened go all the way open unless you are actually holding them, and bounce back. Otherwise, great appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a WHIRPOOL stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave serveral months past. All 4 whirlpool product’s show the slightest touch...fingerprints. The worst part is wiping the fingers OFF requires a lot of elbow power. Cabinet depth very small loose much space for ice maker which barely has enough ice to fill 8 glasses 1/2 way.

Great features! But not a lot of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge came with the house that we purchased. It looked great and seemed to have a lot room, but the room isn’t practical. Can barely fit a weeks worth of groceries. There is also little to no room in the ice maker.

Ice dispenser has terrible design

Overall, the fridge is ok. The user experience for the ice dispenser drives our family crazy. When we use the ice dispenser, the ice falls in random unpredictable directions. Even when using a standard wide-mouth 16oz tumbler, several pieces of ice fall outside the edge of the cup at every use. We have to press the cup against the top of the dispenser and still use our hands to funnel several pieces into the cup. Only about 75% of the ice actually goes into the cup. We've tried setting the glass in normally, holding it lower, etc, but some ice still falls outside the rim of the cup.This is a broken feature that ruins an otherwise ok fridge.

whirlpool French door freezer

I love the bottom freezer. the French doors are great. there is a lot more room than the Sid by side. there is a pull out drawer the full width of the frig. which would definitely recommend
