I upgraded to this fridge when we bought our home in Sept 2011. In early 2014 it started to leak. Water deposits at the bottom of freezer. It freezes then when there is no additional space the water leaks out. Can someone help me figure this out?

Terrible Ice Maker

Overall this fridge is not great- just OK, The ice maker is it's biggest flaw. It is downright TERRIBLE. Before this fridge, I had a Whirpool side by side fridge with the ice maker in the door. That ice maker was great! Why would they go to this substandard super small design.After owning this fridge for 3 months, here are my pros and cons.Pros1. Love the counter depth2. Seems to keep food the correct temperature. I have not noticed any freezing of refrigerated items3. Stainless steel finish seems to be pretty easy to keep cleanCons1. Ice maker production of ice can not keep up with a two person household2. Ice cubes fall on floor every time we use the in door ice dispenser no matter what type of glass or pitcher we used3. Ice maker stores very little ice. You can forget about filling up a cooler.4. Difficult to slide the ice maker tray in and out. It seems like it does not line up quite right. It may he because the fridge door inteferes a bit. Also in order to get it to "snap into place", you need to give the tray a pretty good shove. It feels like your going to break it. We'll see how long that lasts.3. Very difficult to see what you have in th freezer. Items get burried and I am constantly digging for items on the bottom.4. The "cold cut" drawer is the full width of the fridge, so you have to open both fridge doors to get into it; very annoying5. We keep getting moisture on the strip between the fridge doors in a house that has central air. So we're forced to use the humidity control function which is not energy efficientIn general, i wish I had my side by side fridge back! If the people who designed this fridge actually used it in their home to test it before mass production I feel sure they would have many of the same gripes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this refrigerator as it came with our new house, it's a great refrigerator except it has a small ice maker. Spacious and I like the for alarm feature.

Designed well for maximum capacity. Runs quiet.Ice maker is really small but is sufficient for the wife and I.

Very disappointed

We bought this refrigerator just over 1 year ago. We owned a Whirlpool refrigerator for 15 years and never had a problem and still have it our garage so felt good about buying another Whirlpool. 3 days after we had the new fridge installed in stopped working and everything in the fridge had to be thrown out. Apparently the compressor went out and they gave us a new fridge. Shortly after that the ice machine quit working and they had to come and replace the ice machine. Shortly after that a valve on the water line to connect to the fridge cracked on the fridge and water leaked all over which ruined our hardwood floors. We had to have our whole kitchen floor redone. Now about 1 week ago the ice machine stopped working again. I will not purchase another Whirlpool product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installed in our new motorhome. It is great. Easy to use, Having ice and coll water is great and it is so much better than the old style refrigerators in motorhomes.

A Great Refrigerator!

This was installed in our new RV when we took ownership of the RV. My wife and I were both impressed with the layout and features of the refrigerator. It exceeded everything we wanted. Both the freezer and refrigerator temperatures can be individually controlled from the exterior panel. The display shows both temperatures. The unit maintains these preset temperatures flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
