Uncomfortable

When I try to put this over my ear, it's bent too much and doesn't stay, pulling my glasses crooked on my face. If I try to put the bud in my ear, the hook doesn't fit around my ear, causing it to flop, and the mouthpiece was literally in my mouth even with wire bending. Not sure if I totally missed something, I'm not a mechanically challenged dink, but these things are terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a a replacement set for the over the ear mic that came w my handheld vhf radio. It's very comfortable to wear all day, and transmits very clearly. I'm upgrading my radio next year and will buy another Midland, due to my current satisfaction. My only suggestion to the mfgr is to make the wire, as it comes out of the male plug, more durable. This isn't my first replacement for that reason.

These are the worst

These came with my Midland radios. First, they are extremely uncomfortable. After one days use skiing, my ear has been sore for days. Next, the PTT button stopped working after 1 day on BOTH headsets.

The design of the part that is supposed to hold onto your ear is flimsy, uncomfortable, doesn't stay on, and does not stay when you adjust it. The audio however is really good. Save yourself some pain and buy one of the nicer mic/headset models Midland offers.

The earpiece is too big and with wind doesn’t work well. We actually didn’t use them during the Elk hunt as no one could understand us.

We purchased Midland walkies for our business as a reliable means of communication. We've been using them less than a month and 2 of our over the ear headsets have become unreliable or completely broken. For the cost of these products, we were expecting more durability and quality.
