Best Electric Range I Ever Bought!

I bought this range about 17 years ago, and never needed to service it until now - needs a bottom heating element. While ordering one online, I learned that this range is no longer being manufactured which is a shame. It's a very good product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter that the stove is level the burners and drip pans move around so much that invariably the pots and and pans are askew. The entire top seems to be loose and moves with the slightest push. The drip pans are not a good quality and after having a pot boil over, I was unable to clean the baked on food even after soaking the pan over night and then using the last resort of a powerful aluminum cleaner on it. The broiler does absolutely nothing to a steak. No matter how close I put the rack to the top of the oven the steaks come out grey and very unappetizing. After spending all that money on the range I sure wish I had looked into something else even if it cost a bit more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE my new range! My old one went out and we debated and debated and finallay settled on this one! I love that it has an automatic start time so I can put dinner in before work, have it set for a certain time to start cooking, and it's done when I get home! GENIUS!!!

I have totally enjoyed using my new stove. The oven bakes fast and even. And the stove top cooks so much faster than my old stove. Wonderful!

My only "wish" is that the Timer was just a tad louder, otherwise, it looks and works perfectly fine. My home is strictly electric and being old school I wanted coil burners, but the pricing wasn't too attractive as coil burners aren't trendy. As for the fan running after the oven is turned off, I found cracking open the oven [like when broiliing] cools the oven way faster thereby reducing the amount of fan time. The extra 2" depth needed on the backside for the fan didn't really affect my install cuz it's on an island and there was already enough allowance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this traditional electric coils range. The coils work very well and provide quick and reliable heat. Choices include high heat and very low heat for dependable simmering. You can use all kinds of cookware on this range. It is all cookware friendly which is important if you have been cooking for many years with your favorite pots and pans and want to continue using them. The oven heats quickly and cooks evenly and fast. This range is more than reliable, it's sets a high standard for the entire range industry. I am very happy and highly recommend it.

Beautiful

I love this thing. It looks great, everything works, and my favorite thing about it is the silly little detail that I can switch the oven light on and off. Definitely big enough for cooking a turkey and I'll be doing just that in a few weeks.
We had to do some work on our island to make a good fit for the range and had some questions about which measurements to use. The customer service line was very helpful there. The one problem I have with GE is that the install instructions weren't the clearest. We didn't install ourselves, we had a service for that, but we had to prepare the space for it and the instructions were confusingly over written compared to other companies' installation instructions. They read like they were written by a bunch of lawyers.
