Great range for everyday cooking.

We've had this range for 3 months. The coil burners heat up very quickly, much faster than a smooth top range. Temps are exact and the oven, though not convection, provides even heat. I am able to bake two pans of cookies at the same time without switching them on the racks mid-bake. The oven does take a bit of time to cool down and the fan runs fairly quietly for about 20 minutes unless I open the door a bit to let more heat escape. Too hot to do that in the summer.
I love having the controls in the front, so much better than reaching over a hot stove to control the burners. The surface wipes down easily and I use a spray bottle with 1/2 water and vinegar and a soft towel to get rid of any streaks.
Not a fancy range, but so far it's been great for our everyday needs.

Quality range for everyday use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this range for about 4 months, and I'm quite happy with it. I previously owned a GE coil "drop in" range, and after 15 years needed a replacement. I considered buying a smooth top range, but since I use iron skillets, I decided to go with the coils so I didn't have to worry about scratching the top. It has a fan in the oven that runs quite a bit, but isn't loud. This range has proven to be a reliable, attractive, quality stove.

I bought this model because of the large oven which met my expectations. Need to use Fantastic spray on the top of the range to buff away any film left behind when using just water. Otherwise it is a great range.
