Excellent product for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV purchased just over a month ago for the bedroom and I feel it was a great buy. Color is pretty good and easily adjustable. Only issue would be that if you get too far to the side you don't get that good of view but product is very light and easily movable.
Pros: easy to use

Best picture we've seen

After viewing many other brands our choice for clarity, size & sound was this model. We got it for the kitchen counter & it's small enough to fit under the upper cabinets. We have had many favorable comments from family & freinds about the great picture. After thinking about it (not for very long) we replaced the existing TV in the living room with a wall hung 55"er. Very happy with this purchase also, we would recommend these units to anyone & have!

This set is just the right size for where we wanted to put it. It also has an outstanding picture. Very easy to set up. Light and easy to maneuver.

What I don't like is when you change the channel you have to scroll down if there is more than one choice, ex. channel 3.0,3.1,3.2 etc. It goes to the 3.1 and then the next channel that has that same extra channel, ex. 4.1,6.1,8.1 etc, you have to manually make sure you move down to the correct channel, if you want channel 4.0 for example. The main channels are 3.0,4.0,5.0 etc and you have to move to them. The other thing is, sometimes when the scene is dark the tv will picture will darken even more. It adjust itself darker making it hard to see the picture. At first I thought it was the tv itself so I returned it and got another, but this was does the same thing. I have a couple of Samsung tvs and I don't have these problems with either one of them.
I am disappointed because I have always had a high opinion of LG products.

Very good product especially for the price, my old TV also died and went to Electronics Heaven. The set up was not easy for tuning into my cable network, had to have an LG tech assist me, the screen color is goo, not great as I was use to with my old tube TV. Last, when I turn on my Netflix Streaming connected to the main TV my office [this LG TV] turns on also. However, that being said I still believe this is a good buy, just have to work the kinks out.

A Quality Lower Price LED TV

To start out, my entire rational for purchasing this TV was to upgrade from my grandparents mid 1990's Sony 32 inch tube TV. It was running on life support with an accessory RF box to attach the DVD player and a digital converter box that couldn't receive proper TV signals regardless.
This TV changed all of that for me. It's my first entry into the LED TV world. It allowed me to connect my DVD player directly to it and to receive proper reception. As far as features? It offers a number of very helpful picture options,as well as an HDMI jack to which I have connected my new wifi Blu Ray player/streamer.
My only criticisms of the TV is that it seems to take a long time to start out-about 5 seconds. Of course it also took at least that long for my old tube device to start up. Also the menu doesn't provide previews and descriptions of what the TV shows are. Since those aren't enormously important matters for me? This is an excellent TV for my personal needs.
