I've compared the results between the ProResults on my FlexCare + and the DiamondClean Brushes on the DiamondClean head and hands down, the DiamondClean wins out. However, it should be noted, these DiamondClean Brushes fit the FlexCare and other models with this same base.
Three months is what one can reasonably expect these to last. I arrange to switch out on the day seasons change just as a simple reminder.
Love the unique shape of these bristles and having 40% more bristles than my old brushes is definitely a plus as it enables the brush to get in every little nook and cranny in my mouth. Kinder to my gums as well.
I have the "Top of the Line" Sonicare, and couldn't correlated toothbrush with appropriate toothbrush. As a result, I ordered these, but still not sue if these were appropriate for the model Sonicare I use. Bottom Line: website is NOT user friendly re: appropriate replacement heads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not pleased with this product. The bristles become splayed very soon in their usage. I can't believe they are doing a thorough cleaning. Disappointing, to say the least.

Heads do not last three months

I have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for over six years and this model is the second Sonicare toothbrush I've owned. I was really disappointed that the Diamondbrush heads only last about 60 days. I brush my teeth twice a day and by the 30th day the head gets pretty worn. Around the 60th day, the bristles are very out of shape. My old Sonicare toothbrush heads (Essence model) lasted around 90-120 days so I feel that this shorter life-span design was made to keep consumers buying new brush heads.
Pros: very good the first 30 days
Cons: do not last as long as previous sonicare heads
Leaves teeth an order of magnitude cleaner than even the most diligently utilized traditional toothbrush

Extremely pleased with results. Two minor nuisances with regard to design. A number of times while utilizing the brush, I have unintentionally turned the vibration speed down - those buttons are under the hand holding the brush. Likewise the 2 minute versus 2.5 minute long brushing cycle. The best of all worlds would be the ability to "lock" the 2.5 minute cycle with an aural signal at the 2 minute point. At this point I keep the brush on the 2 minute cycle, let it turn off, then turn it on manually to finish up.
In all fairness, I cannot compare this device to other automatic toothbrushes - never having used one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The brushes that came with the original toothbrush were easier on the gums. The newer brushes are more expensive and need to be replaced every 3-6 months. The cost is prohibitive for frequent replacement.
