Brand New Shaver did NOT charge

Since you are asking for a review, here it is AGAIN: Ki Joe FC to Philips April 16 at 1:44 PM · Bought an AquaTouch Wet and dry electric shaver AT893/20 about 2 years ago. Put it away till last weekend when my more than 10 years shaver (not a Philips) auto start itself at night, still usable though. Congratulated myself for having the AT893 standby during this COVID19 lockdown, no shopping. Took the new shaver out, no power. Hooked it up to the charger, no indicator light. Left it on the charger for more than 24 hours, still not charging. Tested the charger with the voltmeter, charger OK. Obviously, the battery is faulty. Unfortunately, no receipt, lost during my move to my new home, NO WARRANTY claim possible. Checked reviews about this model, there have been a few complaints about this battery problem, one also did not charge on first use. Surprised Philips allows this to happen. Very disappointed. Hate to throw a brand new shaver away, very environmentally UNFRIENDLY!
I love being able to wash my face and shave at the same time each day. I can also take it in the shower with me as needed. It is so easy to clean and the charge is good for hours on end. I can honestly say that I love this product and I have been instrumental in several friends purchasing one for them selves
I would recommend this to a friend!
