I was never a electric shaver user, but due to surgery, I could not use me right arm to shave, and I did not want to use my left hand to shave. I decided to purchase an electric shaver. I read up on products,and I chose your shaver because of the product, its value and ease of use. I have now used your shaver over 6 weeks, and as of 2 days ago I could have gone back to old ways. I am staying with Norelco! I am that pleased!
Pros: ease of use comfort easy to clean.

Receiving a good close cut that last throughout the day. I did not notice any skin irritation that was mentioned in the manual.
Pros: quiet enough to listen to the radio or watch tv.
Cons: none at this time only 2 weeks old.

Since living in Holland in the early 60's I have consistently used Philips products, including electric razors. Never need to change to another brand.
Cons: the protective cap does not stay on well.

This is the Third Norelco razor that I have owned. If and/or when I need another one it will be a Norelco. The battery on the AT880 holds it's charge longer than previous models.
I highly recommend it.

I have been using Norelco electric razors for more than 40 years. This is the best one yet! I get a better, cleaner shave, in less time, than any previous shaver. Li-ion battery gives good battery life per charge.
Pros: good design fits my hand nicely, the included semi-hard case protects for travel, the soft surface is easy to grip, the trimmer is much better than previous norelcos
Cons: the smartpivot does not pivot easily enough, the led indicater lights need to be brighter

This is the second Norelco I have had in recent years. Neither gave a very close shave. The less expensive (my first shaver) had a removable shaving head which was easier to clean than the second model whose shaving head opens to a 90 degree angle but doesn't come off. After shaving three or four times on a charge, the battery seems to wear down so the heads rotate less rapidly. Both shavers irritate my skin, especially on the neck. My face must be absolutely dry for the shaver to work well. If I have any perspiration or moisture at all, it irritates better than it shaves. I bought the second shaver (and gave the first to a relative) because I was disappointed in it -- but am equally disappointed in the second.
