I still posses my 814OXL and it still performs however I felt the need to get a newer model and the features in the new model closely resembled the older one showing me that Philips knows they have perfected the electric shaver. Why change greatness? When using something everyday it is important to me to stay with a winner. Great shaver, Great value and fantastic features.
Pros: extra shaving head, battery life
Cons: no stand like my old philips

This version of Norelco's tired and true shaver technology is a supreme disappointment

Having had three Norelco "triple-header" razors, I consider this AT880 is a major disappointment. It now takes me half-again as long as it did with my former Norelco to complete a clean shave. Norelco #2 finally wore out. The AT880 is a featureless, non-discript razor that should not be considered a Norelco standard bearer.
Pros: can be cleaned under running water
Cons: poor shaving performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This razor does not take long at all to fully charge and I shave 1 time a day everyday and lasts over 2 weeks without having to charge it, it shaves great, leaves face nice and smooth
Pros: lasts long time before needs charged, gives you a nice smooth face, can wash it out, easy pop up trimmer
Cons: is no cons

As a life long blade razor user I bought the electric razor as an alternative to having to lather up each day. I find the Phillips-Norelco electric razor met my expectations and gives a clean close shave quickly and is easy to clean. It is very useful for an afternoon shave before going to dinner or out on the town. Nice design.

Cons: not as close as a blade
