It is a shaver. For the most part, I am happy with the product. It does what it needs to do. I had been shaving with a blade for the last twenty years so it takes getting used to and learning how to best use the razor. It is definitely better than my last electric razor was but obviously, the wheel has not been re-invented. I am curious to see how well it will hold up.

Shaves poorly on neck, more ingrown hairs. Have to shave with a blade every 10 days or so to clean up missed hairs. Does fair job on face. Batteries weaken quickly.Clem

This product can not be used as a corded shaver. That is why it is very important to know how much charge is left. The first time I used it I thought it had enough charge for 50 shaves and it ran out of charge in just 11 shaves. I had to use my old shaver, which is luckily a corded shaver. This one throws shaved hair everywhere and all over the handle. The design does not hold the shaved hair in the area below the heads very well. I had no problem with my old Norelco rechargeable corded shaver.

Cons: lacks chage level indicator

It is easy to clean with the brush. The razor blade guard is easy to remove and to put back on. I haven't used water to clean this one with. The last one I had was similar to the new one and it was easy to clean with water. The old one I had, the razor blades holder fell apart to where you couldn't put a new head in it. I'll see if this new one will hold together longer then the oldf one.
