All in all it's a good product. The only downside is that for the first 5 weeks the razor dried and irritated my skin.
Although the latter problem somewhat subsided, still after four months or so of use I'm still experiencing the problem(s).
Please keep in mind I never had a skin issue in my life, thus I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend the razor, especially to someone who has skin that's not tougher than mine.

The older i get, the more my beard becomes sharp and thicker. The Philips Norelco electric razor does a great job shaving my beard quickly and easily.

I was able to purchase this brand new shaver for less money that to purchase a replacement head for my similar and older Norelco. In fact I was shocked at the price of the replacement heads, and that is what prompted me to be looking around. This one was not only cheaper than one replacement head for the older model, but it also came with an additional head. I do, however, have the special beard trimmer attachment (which replaces the shaving head, not the pop up one that is on-board) and I really like the beard trimmer attachment. This new, cheaper model shaves fine, but does not have the option of special beard trimmer. So I have one for shaving and the old one for beard trimming.
