As a longtime user of Norelco cordless razors, I like this model better than any previous one I used. I especially like the easy clean up under the water tap; I like how close it shaves; I especially like my face not feeling scratch and sore like they did with every other shave system I used. Hand-blade shaving just tears my face up; Using this Norelco is a dream and cuts my face hair without pulling. I also like the 2-1/2 years warranty granted for registering online.

My previous Norelco shaver lasted over 20 years. It finally gave me problems and I was torn between replacing the blades or purchasing a new razor. The blade replacement parts were almost as expensive as total replacement so rather than take any chances, I just replaced the entire unit. Great shave, just like I have always received from my previous razor. Hoping for another 20+ years. Hey, I could go before the razor does.

I'm impressed with this shaver.Philips Norelco Shaver 4500. My old shaver was also a Norelco but after using it for many years the battery charge was good for only two shaves and then I would have to recharge or use the cord so I retired it and purchased this shaver. I am now getting 18 to 19 shaves on a charge with this shaver. It gives a good close shave and the trimmer works well for trimming sideburns and hair around the ears. The charge cord is a straight cord (not spring coiled). The cord is long enough but doesn't store neatly. The only con would be that you cannot shave while the shaver is charging, although the charge is quick - less than an hour.

This shaver has a great and smooth shave. Very close shave. The design of the shaver makes it easy to hold in your hand as you shave.
I am very pleased with this shaver.
My only complaint - albeit, a mild one - is that this shaver doesn't come with a travel case. Other cheaper Norelco shavers include a travel case. This is not a problem, but surprised that no case is included, given the cost of the shaver.
But, I'm still satisfied with this product.
