This my first rotary shaver. I really expected it to be easier to use. It seems a little awkward to use. Maybe with time. Sometime it cuts good and other times it simply won't cut anything. I wash it out with hot water and that seems to help. At best it is average.

The razor cuts very close and works more efficiently and faster than previous models. It cleans very easily with water and has a long battery life. It is easy to hold, razor head matches face and neck well resulting in a close and through shave.
Pros: revised design, efficiency of cutting surfaces, battery durability, ease in cleaning
Cons: did not come with a travel bag

Excelent product design with poor accessory design concept

I have just bought an AT880. As an EX philips service manager, I have to say the product itself is excellent in design, but the accessory design concept is poor. 1- The stand is not stable enough to hold the razor in its position and razor falls down frequently! 2- If the stand has a special place for holding the brush, that would be much better design. But as overall, that is a good product from PHILIPS "as always".

This the second Phillips shaver I've owned. This one is head-and-shoulders better than the first. Gives an excellent shave, charges quickly to a full charge and can be used for several shaves before it has to be recharged. I've used it both wet and dry and it seems to perform comparably either way. Cleaning the shaver is simple; flip a latch, rinse under warm water, close the latch and carefully dry the shaver. My only criticism of the shaver is that it did not come with a charging stand (or any stand for that matter) and it's somewhat inconvenient to store it between shaves.
Pros: excellent shaves wet-or-dry.
Cons: not easy to store between shaves without a stand, or case.

I would recommend this shaver to anyone. It is easy to use when shaving and when u need to clean it, u just lift up the head and dump out the shaving clipping's and then just pus h it gently back to where it can be used for shaving again. It is also easy to clean with it being placed under running water. And also, it's indiv' heads, are easy to take out to replace as well. And when u need to keep the heads from getting clog or when u want to make sure that the heads stay sharper or last longer, then, just taking them out, to place them, in a bowl with a little rubbing achole, then just place them in one and then taking them out when soaked in them.
