Best shaver I've had in 50+ years of shaving.

I just bought my first Norelco shaver (AT830) after 50+ years of competitor shavers that contain Micro-Screens(MS) which wear out in 6-8 months. I already had a Norelco Body Groomer, so I knew the Lithium Ion Battery would run ~1 hr per charge. I like having the solid rotating shaving heads on the Norelco shaver (Not MS) because the hairs under my chin never seemed to get cut by the MS. Norelco's shaver knocks them off very easily. The shaver is also extremely quiet. Now when I'm on a tall sailing ship sharing a small cabin, I don't have to worry about waking my cabinmate by the sound of a noisy motor. The shaving heads comfortably moved over all the rounded areas of my face an neck and did a wonderful job of cutting ALL the hairs.
Pros: gets all those longer hairs, very quiet, extremely comfortable dry shave

I have used the Philips Norelco 4500 electric razor for about a month and a half and have found it to be a solid performer. It did take some time to get used to, but once I acclimated to it, I have found it to give a good close shave. I use it with a popular pre-shave and that helps to set up my beard. I do find that sometimes O notice very short stubble after shaving andvwashing off the pre-shave. I have yet to use the 4500 wet or with shaving cream. Info plan to try that at some point. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the 4500 and the shave it gives. I would recommend this product.

Cons: no case or stand

I am a 67 year old male and started using an electric shaver when I was 17 years old. this shaver is the best plain and simple. I could write a 2 page recommendation and it still would not give a prospective buyer all the answers. I have owned every shaver on the market and the best answer I feel is if your are RICH or POOR this shaver is the BEST!!!!!!
