Does not seem to shave as close as my former Philips. Also, I miss the charger bar that let me know when losing charge. Yesterday I picked up the shaver to shave; found it completely dead. Had to wait while it partially charged before I could shave.
I am very pleased with the ability to rinse the shaver with water after use.
The product is easy to use and does not cause any skin irritation

I have had a beard for over 40 years, and when I decided to start shaving again I was uncertain of what product to use. On the basis of advertising, I chose the Norelco rotary shaver and after a moth's use (3 times weekly) I am quite satisfied.
In the instructions that come with the razor, the new user is advised that it might take a few weeks for your face to adjust to the new razor. I'd been using a blade for years -- the first time I used the PowerTouch, I decided never to go back to the blade. I had no trouble adjusting to the PowerTouch and I think it does a better job!
I have used Norelco rotary shavers since 1976. This model is by far the best shaving model yet. It cuts closer, faster and with a more lasting smoothness than any I have owned. It remains to be seen if the battery life is better.
It is a great shaver but for some reason, I find the shape of the housing is difficult to hold on to. It doesn't fit my hand as the older shavers of the same design did. Maybe, because I am 77 years old. It slides down in my hand to where I am holding it by the head pivots and then I need to reposition it. Hope you understand what I am saying.
