WHEN I FIRST OPENED HER UP AND LET IT CHARGE I INSPECTED THE INNER WORKINGS OF THE HEAD AND FOUND MOST OF THE PARTS WERE SMALL PIECES OF PLASTIC TURNING THE CUTTING FOILS, WHEN CHARGED I TRIED IT ON FOR SIZE. DO NOT TRY TO USE THIS THING DRY! I'VE USED ELECTRIC RAZORS FOR SOME TIME NOW SO I'M USED TO THE IRRITATION...THIS WOULD NOT EVEN MOVE ACROSS MY SKIN. IT SOUNDS AND FEELS LIKE IT HAS LOW POWER TOO. BUT ADD SOME EDGE GEL AND HOT WATER THEN LOOK OUT! USE CIRCLAR MOTIONS, WRINSE THE SHAVER OFTEN=AND FEEL YOUR FACE SOFTEN, BABY!
Pros: easy to keep clean, gives smooth as silk skin when used correctly
Cons: needs more engine torque, needs stand for charging and drying

Several years ago I switch from a blade razor for daily shaving to Philips razors, for home and travel. I now own three: one for our summer home, one for our winter home, one for trave. Very good device.
Pros: very efficient
Cons: could use a status of battery indicator.
