This is the fourth Norelco shaver that I have owned and used daily for the past 15 years. None have ever had any problems, although the lifetime of the shaver heads is about 18 months. I usually replace the heads once in each shaver and then take advantage of deep discounts- often available- and buy a new one.
Pros: reliability
Cons: replacement heads expensive

I have been using Phillips Norelco electric razors for 40 years or so and this one is the best. It is quiet, fits my hand, gives a close shave, charges quickly and does not need cleaning every day.
Pros: quet operation
Cons: maybe a tad heavy

I cannot think of any reason to give this razor less than 5 stars. I bought it to replace a Phillips razor that was several years old with batteries that were showing their age and blades that needed replacing. The new blades were going to cost me 2/3 what this new razor cost so I went with the new razor. I would do it again. This razor comes with a nice charging stand - an upgrade over the cord and the batteries will go for a lot longer if needed. Because it was a new razor it took a couple of weeks to break it in but now I'm getting the smooth comfortable shave I hoped for.
Pros: charging stand cleans easily.
Cons: i still have to shave every day.
