Conveneint to use. I have not cut myself with it yet. My old trac 2 shaves closer and faster.
Pros: easy to use, i like the sideburns trimmer

Good razor

Used this product for about 2 years and now it will not shave close. Tried new set of heads with same result. Got out my old 7340XCL and it still shaves great. Except the battery has seen better days. So I ordered a new 4200 and I will give it a try. I will register it now.
Pros: good razor
Cons: something wrong with it after a couple of years.

I replaced an old Norelco shaver with this one after the battery went out on my shaver. I cannot believe how technology has improved with this new shaver! It shaves as close as a razor without the fuss and I love the fact that you can run the head under water to clean it. Once the battery is charged I use it for at least 2 weeks before recharging. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a great electic shaver.

the one fault i have is with the cradle. The razor doesnt sit well and the charger cord keeps pulling out of the cradle

I have used this AT814 daily for eight weeks now. Unfortunately this shaver does not provide the same smooth, stubble free shave I experienced with the previous Norelco razors I have owned. This AT814 replaced a model 8140XL that I had used for the last six years and replaced the cutters every twelve to fourteen months. I have used Norelco shavers for over forty years.
Pros: ease of use---battery life
Cons: poor shave results

My third Norelco Razer. Gets the job done fast and easy. No nicks or burns. Gets those longer hairs other razors miss.
Pros: fast
Cons: charger hard to align razer.
