I used regular razor for 40 years and upon recommendation of friend I decided to try Phillips electric razor and totally satisfiedwith ease of use and quality of electric and how much money i will save not purchasing 8 raxors for 30 dollars

This model provides a very smooth shave. It is easy to clean and very lightweight. i am particularly pleased at how quickly it recharges. It would be nice if it came with a travel pouch like my previous model. However, it does fit in that same pouch (except for the charging cord).
Pros: smooth shave without irritation, charges quickly

You can use the shaver for Wet or Dry shaving. I use the pop up trimmer often. Also, the newer rechargeable battery appears to last longer for shaving and recharge faster than past shavers. I have been using the shaver for about 5 weeks.

I would not recommend it if you have a thick beard

This razor is being used on a 90 year old man with a thick beard. I am not sure it should take as much effort to shave as it does. It is very hard to shave between the nose and lip. To be honest have not tried it wet to see if it would work better. There must be some better razor out there for a thick wirey beard.

I have used Norelco shavers for over 30 years, and I have been a satisfied customer -- shavers are reliable, easy and comfortable to use. When it came time for a replacement, I bought the classical shaver vs the current design with the detachable trimmer. So far, this shaver has performed as my previous Norelco shavers, and I am a satisfied repeat customer. I highly recommend this shaver to any customer.

i was more pleased with customer service response ( as i had to exchange original shaver which was not operating well) than with the product itself. i find it is adequate for a touchup shave but not for a "perfect " shave suitable for a formal event or important meeting. it doesnt do the job my straightedge razor can do for those occasions. perhaps the more expensive model does the job better
