I have used norelco shavers for years after trying a number of the foil head shavers and have always returned to Norelco.
Pros: smooth shave, long battery life
Cons: not the best for neck hair

The razor is fine--it would be excellent if the trimmer worked well--the trimmer on my razor is almost useless--it just don't do a good job and while I get a good shave, the trimmer works a little sometimes, and sometimes not. I hesitate too say I would recommend the shaver, but if another shave trimmed well, the razor would be easy to recommend.

I've had many Norelco electric shavers over the years and this most recent purchase is the best. It shaves close, there is no pulling on the hair and the shaver holds a charge for a long time. I have already recommended this product to members of my family. Thank you Philips for a great product.

Improved over the last Norelco, which failed (switch broke) in a little over a year. I think this model has better heads,, and it is more comfortable.
Pros: charges in 1 hour not 8
Cons: still not as smooth as my norelco that lasted 15 y

Bought this for my Dad who is 87 and has macular degeneration. He was put on blood thinners and had to give up straight razors. This product was a wonderful discovery. He can use shaving cream if he likes, rinse it as usual and yet he can't get cut. He has no problems turning it on and rinsing it despite his poor vision. Marve

This razor gives a great shave and the battery seems to last forever. I would have liked a battery meter though. I travel a lot and need to know my razor is ready to go. That would be my only recommendation.

Battery life is great, keeps a charge for a several months. Easy to clean. Provides a clean shave. Neck shaving takes a little extra time but I think that's with any shaver. I have not tried the wet shaving feature.
