I have an old battery powered (2 "AA") Conair very similar to my new one. I used my old one for 8+ years and loved it. I dropped it on the floor and broke the attachment rendering it useless. So I contacted Conair and they helped me figure what the closest new model to my old one was and directed me to their web site. My new one is battery powered by 2 "AAA". I was surprised with the low cost and how long the batteries last. I received it 3 day after I placed the order. It cuts my coarse beard hair even and quickly with only a couple passes. I like it better than my old Conair. It's more compact and lighter. I hope it lasts as long as my old one. I definitely recommend this product.

I just purchased the Conair Trimmer/Shaver to replace the 10-year old version of the same. The new one is great, I use it to trim sideburns and facial hair. The old one was great too, the blades just got dull after all those years.

Zero instructions for assembly

The manual has no instructions whatsoever for assembly. I'm trying to sorta figure it out, and it looks like I can maybe snap a piece of plastic into the opening, but I'm afraid it's going to snap if I force it.
Why can't you include pictures and instructions for assembling the stupid thing? I need to trim my beard for a wedding, and this stupid piece of crap is useless because I can't assemble it.

Not worth anything

I see all of the good reviews and I have to think I got a bad one. It’s EXTREMELY weak. Sounds like the battery is almost dead, no matter how long I charge it. I’ve let it charge for ~48 hours and still the battery seems dead. Maybe it was made on Monday Morring. I will not be buying another one. Caveat Emptor!

The charger is the wrong one :( please help I really don't want to have to order a charger for it it'll cost me about the same price as a new trimmer
