The plastic bristle brush head basically tangles and rips your hair out. The other brush with actual bristles is too short to do anything. I can basically do only the front part of my hair and even with that I have to pray for the best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the fourth Conair 2-in-1 curling brush I have bought. Because I am pleased with the temperature and speed of heating *(but not too much).....I always select this product.
Only once have I had a problem, It stopped working after only a few weeks. I bought another one just like it . So far it is giving me the service I have expecterd.

Really really really like this product and the way it works. Love the size of the two brush heads, the fact that they are bristle and so really smooth and the SPIN feature is awesome. BUT the fact that it is only 500 watts is such a disappointment. If it were 1000 watts it would be perfect!!! But, as it is it really takes too long to use. I have a1000 watt one that dries your hair fast and is hot enough to really set the curl if you want to

I love having a curling "brush"/hair dryer in 1 unit so I can dry & curl my hair at the same time. However, I only put 3 stars because I would like to use the smaller brush but it has nylon bristles instead of single hard rubber/plastic "bristles" and for my thick hair, I prefer the hard bristles...thought everyone knew NOT to use a brush on wet hair as it removes elasticity. And the blower power or motor power could be stronger too. Especially for thick hair like mine.

Had my first “2-in-1” forever. I think almost 20 years before it died. I was devastated. I was so glad to find it was still being made. I have had this new one for almost a year. It works perfectly! This works when my hair is slightly damp or when it’s dry. I shower before bed and use a CPAP. My hair is every direction crazy when I wake up. This device makes it lovely within minutes. I’ve used this on my hair when it’s long and when it’s short. This is my favorite hair tool. Please always make them.

I received this for Christmas and fell in love with it immediately. It dries your hair faster than a regular dryer, gives u so much volume as though you came out of a salon and your hair stays very soft & shiney.
