Great camera for the price

I am not a professional but this is a very good camera for the price. I have taken it on vacation and I take a lot of wildlife and outdoor photos with no problems. I especially like the stabilization feature. I have taken photos of ships at sea and wildlife at several hundred yards without a tripod and they are crystal clear. I probably should purchase an extra battery because I forget to plug the camera in after using it for awhile, but it charges rather quickly. The only problem I have had is the lens cap (cover) springs broke and I am having a difficult time ordering a replacement.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Big Disappointment

I thought purchasing a Samsung would be rewarding since I own other Samsung electronics and have been very pleased. Surprisingly, I searched and searched for reviews for this camera and found none- until after my camera arrived and would not work. Then I googled and found reviewed explaining exactly my problem. After charging the battery, I turn on the camera and get the set up screen. Go through the set up process and the camera freezes. This happened about five times. I finally gave up and called the company that I purchased from for a return label. Samsung needs to take this camera off the market and fix the bugs. How frustrating!
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have bought many cameras in the past. Probably a lot more then I should have. All good and well known names . For at least the same price and many, more then the Samsung. I really couldn't be happier that I did buy it. It does all I want and more then I need. It really is easy to learn how to use, and does a great job. I think I wont be buying another camera for a while . But be assured If and when I do, it will be a Samsung. Very happy.

I would definitely recommend this camera. I couldn't believe I could get such an awesome camera for the price I paid. The picture quality is great and the zoom is absolutely spectacular! One thing that I would change is maybe a little more picture and video settings.
