Fantastic All Around

This phone has surely outdone itself. From its design to its features its surely to grab your attention. Some may say the button layout is abnormal and a bad move. But being a user myself yeah sure it takes some getting used to but once you get a feel for the product its design will surely prove its convenience especially during a phone call and for all you selfie lovers. In addition to its design the features are just fantastic. It pretty much packs everything you need. Lost your remote? No worries there's an app for that. Need to jot down notes quickly? There's a feature for that. Need to save multiple things for future use? There's a feature for that. Its basically the companion you've been looking for. Need a great camera? Well this phones camera is outstanding from the light capture to the OIS (optical image stabilization) you can say bye bye bad photos. And the last pro I want to mention is its amazing battery life and its very quick charge time. It charges and lasts much more than any phone I have owned. Overall this phone is fantastic. But there is one complaint that I have and that is the speakers and audio. The speakers are poorly placed for example if you are watching a video or playing a game your hands cover the speakers (provided you are holding it horizontally which in most cases you do) and the sound is muffled by your hands. This was really aggravating especially because the sound itself is decent but not great. You can learn something from HTC's One (best sound and speaker placement). But besides that one con in regards to the audio. Its a great phone.

Awesome phablet

The LG Optimus G Pro is a solid entry in the booming phablet market. It has a truly gorgeous display and combined with great functionality you have a daily driver that can keep up with the best.

A high-featured phone that just "oozes" QUALITY

I liked the phone a lot at the store. I was looking for a larger screen size and I liked what I saw at the store. I was then further and pleasantly surprised to keep discovering new things and features each day on the phone for the first several weeks. I still occasionally discover a new feature or aspect. I like that it processes at high speeds and, like I said, I needed and love the screen size of this fine phone.

One Of The Best Phones Period

The features are top notch, the quality of manufacture is off the hook.

I like the big screen, and high resolution. Fast responce time. The only feature I didn't like is, I can not put personal ID information in the text message.

A giant I-Phone, only better

I purchased this unit about 6 months ago. The phone has an excellent screen and a super fast processor. It can run apps without any lag.My favorite feature is the IR blaster, which enables the phone to function as a remote control for any piece of equipment that has one. This feature is super cool, IMHO.The unit also has the ability to run more than 1 app on the screen at the same time. Although there are only a small number of apps that can do this, called the "Q-Slide" apps, it is cool and I wish there were a few more. The unit has solid call quality, but not on speakerphone. I have not had any problems with reception or data speeds.
Of course it has everything you would expect from a high end handset, which leads me to the things that have been a disappointment. The camera is mediocre at best. It takes OK pictures with noticeable shutter lag, not acceptable for a high end unit. I am now convinced that the number of megapixels is not a good measure of camera quality.The other feature that disappoints is the speaker. While it sounds OK to listen to, it does not work well in the speakerphone mode, you have to hold the phone at arms lengths in order for the person on the other end to be able to hear you. I have had a number of people tell me that they can not hear me.
