A affordable phone with great spec.

LG e980 is strong in spec and really affordable, from 13mp camera to full 1080 display.
This is one of the best phone I've carried for almost 2 years.Still..! in great condition.There are very few phone in the market that delivers what it promise, and LG e980 is one of them.

Intuitive Software

I've only had the phone for a few days but I can tell you that the software is wonderful. I was watching a movie and i received a text box in the upper left corner and I was able to respond without having to exit out of the movie. The overall software experience is very smooth and intergraded. I can't say enough about the fluidity of the g pro. I am very satisfied with my decision to go with LG.

I was shopping for a new phone, but hadn't heard of the E980 until just before it hit the store shelves. One look at the features on the web site, and one hands on check at the store and I eliminated all other phones I had been considering. Fantastic screen, blazing speed, easy to use, all leaves me very impressed.

Beautiful bright LARGE screen.
Buttons aren't in very good place as just picking up the phone you take a picture of your screen or you turn the volume up/down with out wanting to.
Features are typical of any and all smart phones, nothing really new here.
The processor speed is okay, typical.
battery life STINKS! even in low power use.
WyFi doesn't work very well. Not sure why.
People that you call can not hear or understand you, they say it sounds like you are talking down a barrow to them.
I love the speech to text, better than the average smartphone.
So this is my conclusion

I hope I shood you away from this Phone! It really isn't worth all the money and/or pain

Great Phone So Far

I've had my LG Optimus G Pro for little over a month and have enjoyed it so far. It has proven to be everything I expected and more. This is my second Android phone so there was very little learning curve.
The screen is extremely clear, even in bright light. The screen is a very large 5.5 inches which I thought I might have a problem with, but it's just the right size.
Calls are clear and volume is right. I always get a great signal and haven't had an issue with dropped calls.
This phone is very fast when using apps. Has plenty of storage built in, plus a SD card slot for more storage space.
I love the DLNA function on the phone as I can stream movies to friends TV's.
The only problem I've had is keeping my bluetooth headset connected. I don't know if it's the phone or the headset. I'm going to try a different headset to see which one is causing the issue.
