New to digital.

This is my first digital camera and I must say I am impressed with the quality and ease this camera has. It's really quite a different ball game from film cameras but I believe it will be an easy transition for me to make. I love the image quality and at 10 mp. the images are as close to film as I have ever seen.
And the video abilities are an added bonus for me.
This camera has surpassed all my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone.

A great choice

The combination of the wide angle, long telephoto and hot shoe makes it complete. I can't imagine looking at another camera for a long time. If I dropped it, I would buy another one just like. I also like using AA batteries and SD cards. I also use the Canon Speedlite flash. Just snap it into the shoe, turn it on and everything works great. Wonderful color shots without being in the face of your subjects. A real winner.

Best Digital Camera Ever

My wife and I found this camera to be easy to use, easy to download pictures on the computer. Shoot video with. The zoom and macro zoom is beyond belief.

Incredible photos. Quality I never imagined. I upgraded from a Canon 2S IS. Many of the features are similar. I love the tilting of the camera tilting the viewfinder. So the camera follows, the same with viewing photos in the viewfinder.

If you can read the words On and Off you can capture decent pictures with this unit. If you are a Techno whiz this camera has all the whistles and bells anyone could expect.

better than expected

I wanted a upgrade in mp and a low price purchase and I found it all in this camera, I could not believe the fineness of color and the close-up shots are so real like and I did it myself, I like takeing photo's of family gatherings and this camera did the job!!
I was a kodak fan for years, but now I will be a fan of canon and do not regret my decision to cross over!!!!
