LOVE IT!!!

I have had this camera since Jan, and just love it. I took over 100 pictures and am still on the original batteries (I did buy lithium).
I also love the fact that it can take VERY GOOD pictures even when the light's not too bright -WITHOUT THE FLASH!!!! it's awesome!
I did ready the book and took a few test pics as the menus are a bit clunky at first...but easy to overcome.
just Aces!!
Pros: Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, excellent image quality, Good Low-Light Performance, good battery life, durable
Cons: it is a bit bulky but i got over it quickly

GREAT NIGHT SHOT WITH EX FLASH

I NO LONGER NEED TO TAKE MY 35 MM FILM CAMERA TO INDOORS OR NIGHT EVENTS. MY SX10 IS WITH THE EX FLASH TAKE PERFECT PHOTOS EVEN IN LARGE AUDITORIUMS.

Would like to see Canon incorporate viewing on both screen and view finder at the same time. Also would like to be able to force the flash in auto mode.
There are many instances where both of these features are needed, and would be very helpful.

This is a GREAT camera! I love it so much I can't put it down (LOL). It has everything I need in a camera plus more and takes beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this camera to anyone seeking a professional camera for quality pictures at a great price. I have been using this camera for about two weeks now and to date have not found any cons, only pros. *****5 Stars*****

This is an excellent camera, by far the most versatile non-pro camera you can buy for the price, and I have a bunch of pictures to prove my point.
Why not a plain A? Because it sorely needs a remote. When you use a tripod to do a telephoto shot, the otherwise adequate image stabilizer is unable to compensate for the inevitable camera movement when you press the shutter button. A remote would provide a simple and inexpensive solution for this problem.

This is a wonderful camera, very versatile and easy to use. I have been a dedicated Canon camera fan for years, having begun by using an EOS-1 as a sports photographer; but this camera is fabulous! I do wish that I could take a class to capitalize on some of the advanced features this camera offers, but I'll just keep working with it and learning on my own.
I would encourage anyone to purchase this camera!

I love this camera! It is so compact but has so many features of a larger camera. I was able to get such great pictures on our vacations. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. The 20x zoom really came in handy for the action wildlife pictures we love to take. I am still learning how to use all of the bells and whisltes but I am having so much fun doing it.

Pictures are excellent, the only problem was the lens cap and the shadow hood lens, falls off easy, lost both pieces at the cma fest
