Best Camera Ever

I absolutely love this camera! It works very well and has excellent image quality.
I recently got interested in photography and desperately needed a camera with good macro because my old digital one couldn't zoom in to save its life. DSRL cameras were reasonably priced but the cost for good macro lenses were sky high and I couldn't afford them. So instead I opted for this camera. It has excellent macro and unbelievable optical zoom. I can be standing very far away from something and still take an excellent close-up of it. The powerful zoom is also perfect for taking pictures of insects and butterflies do to the fact that they get scared if something gets too close. Again, this is an excellent camera and I recommend it to anyone that wants to get into photography but can't afford really expensive cameras or lenses.

I was mistaken about the flash. When I called Canon to order the flash, I talked to tech support and he showed me how to change the flash. In mode "P", you can make the flash come on anytime you want it to.

Great Camera

This is my second Canon. Love the product, easy to use. I use lithum batteries in all my cameras they seem to last the longest! Have recommended this camera to all my friends. When I buy another camera it will definitely be another Canon

A great buy for the budding beginning photographer. Gives you a sense of control and able to adjust to your own tastes. At the same time gives you the opportunity to allow the camera to guide your picture taking. It allows you to learn and make adjustments along the way. A good purchase to upgrade from older cameras or for the budding photographer in the family. Can be used by those with some experience and those with no experience. Great buy for the family with all having fun.

Great Value for $$

I love the 20X zoom with image stabilization. Great for pics of grandkids playing organized sports or running around yard. Has all the features of the high end camera at one third the price. As a weekend photographer it does everything I want. Does take practice to master using controls and utilizing features when needed. I use a cheat sheet. Using the AUTO setting works fine, but recommend going beyond that for interesting results. I have experimented with different settings with some real nice results. Go for it !!!

THIS CAMERA ,ALTHOUGH A BIT HEAVY IS VERY EASY TO WORK,EVEN HANGIN OUT AN 18 WHEELER WINDOW AT 65MPH. GETTING GREAT SHOTS! THIS IS NOT SIMPLY A POINT AND SHOOT! THE SETTINGS HAVE ALLOWED ME TO CUSTOMIZE ITS FUNCTIONS FOR MY PERSONAL NEEDS. LOVE THE FEATURES ON THE LCD SCREEN.VERY USEFUL.GREAT STEP UP FROM POINT AND SHOOT WITHOUT THE EXPENSE OF THE MORE SOPHISTICATED. CAMERAS .EVEN THE DIGITAL ZOOM IS GREAT.WITH THAT AND THE 20X OPTICAL ZOOM THERE IS NOT MUCH YOU CANT DO.

Best Camera i've ever had!

I love this camera because it takes clear pictures and it's zoom is GREAT! I really like is high IS speed shooting mode. I have always used Canon cameras because I love their products. This camera takes awesome pictures and it allows you to focus on the subject with both the revolving LCD screen or the view finder.
