I purchased these screen protectors because BodyGuardz was one of the first to market after the announcement of the iPad Air. I have tried screen protectors from all the name brands out there, including Spigen, Zagg, Speck, Griffin, Marware, Belkin, and even a few obscure brands from China. The screen protector from BodyGuardz has the worst application process by far. Even when compared to Zagg, which has a similar liquid based application process, BodyGuardz method of using an application gel was overly difficult and a pain to clean up. I even bought 2 of them in case I messed up the first attempt, which didn't help. I prefer screen protectors that others don't notice or that looks so similar to the actual look and feel of the glass that I'm not reminded of its presence on the device on a day to day basis. With BodyGuardz's product, you get neither. Despite following all the directions, I ended up with a lot of trapped bubbles on both attempts and ended up removing it from my device. Disregarding the trapped air bubbles, when the screen protector was on, it wasn't as smooth compared to other types of screen protectors out there. Using it on a touch screen surface felt as resistive to smooth touch gestures as the adhesive side of plastic food wrap. Imperfections in application are even more pronounced when viewing the screen through polarized lenses (sunglasses). Within less than a week I replaced the BodyGuardz product with screen protectors from Belkin, which is a traditional static film protector that doesn't require any liquid or gel to apply. With that screen protector, I was able to get the application perfectly on the first attempt, and ended up saving the extras for future iPads. I used to work at Apple Retail Stores, so I have plenty of experience putting screen protectors on other's devices. If I had a difficult time applying this screen protector, I'd hate to imagine how others are faring who have less experience.
In short...DO NOT BUY!!!

I tried to install and it made my Ipad look horrible! I tried to add the gel and it did not look good. What a waste of money! I would never recommend anyone to buy this item.

This is my ninth device that I have protected using Bodyguardz. One of the key benefits with the Air 2, being that the aluminum is so slippery, is that the skin give the device a "tack" that lets me hold it more comfortably at many more angles. Three times I have taken advantage of free replacement skins when the corners wear off (probably because of the way I hold the corners while reading in bed or reclining on the sofa) so they are an even greater value than the simple list price.

Excellent feel and protection

I really like to keep my iPad bare (no case) but I don't like how slippery the naked iPad is, nor do I want to have it get scratched. I've been putting BodyGuardz on my iPhones, iPads, and MacBook for years now, and because of the extra grip they add, clear view, and durability, I love the way they look, function, and protect my devices. After a year or so of use I usually have an edge of the film come loose on an edge or corner, but my iPad is in and out of bags daily (as are my MacBook and iPhone), if not many times each day so I don't mind after that long. The BodyGuardz have consistently worked great and their Advantage program has made replacements easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used Bodyguardz since the first iPhone (5 of them) and the first iPad (now my 4th) and this was the easiest skin to install yet. It's drying right now as I speak (type!)

Good product, but dust kills it

Nice finishing, good product, very easy to apply. If any dust, though, gets in there you cannot remove it. I've tried everything - tape, more gel, tweezers, it simply does not leave. I will buy another brand and replace it for something I can remove some dust using something (like some tape, simple and elegant solution, instead of throwing dollars into the trash can).

I've been a loyal BodyGuardz customer for a long time now. I've used their product on all my family's idevices. The films last a long time with little to no discoloration. They are simple to put on, though I've had a lot of practice. I'm on the fence about giving this particular application 5 stars. The reason is the area around the home button tends to collect lots of dirt and is already coming up after a few months after applying the film.
I would recommend this to a friend!
