Very less apps

Picture wise the TV is good. It does not have Amazon prime APP on this. MY old sony LCD that was bought 4 years before this had all the apps and every time I started my sony I see new apps getting added. Also the sound is not that great when you turn off the Home Theater.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything you hoped it would be

I love this TV. Seriously people dinging it for missing an App are kind of harsh. The picture is amazing and the networked Netflix built in works better than the other Netflix apps that I've seen. Integrated YouTube also works great. Bluetooth keyboard I bought works to make life simpler. Add in the most vivid 3D with 3 different 3D modes and you have a stunning product. Sharp Quatron technology is exceptional and the image quality is one of the best on the market. I'm sure the 2015 model is as good or better than the 2014. One warning, make sure your TV stand is big enough for this beast. 80" is everything you hoped it would be.
I would recommend this to a friend!
